Common Account Tasks

Update Your Email Address

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings
  2. Click on your email address to edit
  3. Enter your new email address
  4. Click Save Changes
  5. Verify the new email by clicking the link we send

Change Your Password

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings
  2. Scroll to the Password section
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password
  5. Click Update Password

Passwords must be at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and numbers.

Add a Profile Photo

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings
  2. Click on your avatar or the camera icon
  3. Select a photo from your device
  4. The photo uploads automatically

Recommended: Professional headshot, square format, at least 400x400 pixels.

Security Best Practices

  • Use a unique, strong password you don't use elsewhere
  • Keep your email address up to date for security alerts
  • Log out of shared or public computers after each session
  • Don't share your login credentials with anyone
  • Contact support immediately if you notice suspicious activity

Common Questions

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Go to lawchain.xyz/auth/forgot-passwordand enter your email. We'll send you a link to create a new password. The link expires after 1 hour for security.

Why do I need to verify my email?

Email verification ensures we can send you important case updates, notifications, and security alerts. It also helps prevent fake accounts and keeps the platform secure for everyone.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No, each person should have only one LawChain account. If you need to switch roles (e.g., from client to lawyer), contact support to update your existing account.

How do I delete my account?

Contact our support team to request account deletion. Note that you must resolve all active cases and pending payments before your account can be deleted.
