Common Questions
What happens to my payment if there's a dispute?
Funds remain in escrow during any dispute. Our team reviews the evidence and determines a fair resolution. Depending on the outcome, funds may be released to the lawyer, refunded to you, or split.
Can I get a refund after releasing payment?
Once you approve and release a milestone, the payment is final. We recommend only releasing payment when you're fully satisfied with the work. If issues arise before release, file a dispute and we'll help resolve it.
How do lawyers receive payments?
Lawyers receive payments directly to their connected bank account via Stripe. Payouts typically arrive within 2-3 business days after milestone release.
