Common Questions
How much does it cost to post a case?
Posting cases is completely free. You only pay when you fund milestones for your hired lawyer. LawChain charges a 1% fee only when payments are released.
How do I know if a lawyer is legitimate?
All lawyers with a green verification badge have been verified against the California State Bar registry. You can also view their ratings, reviews, and completed cases on their profile.
What if I'm not satisfied with the work?
If issues arise, you can request revisions or file a dispute before releasing payment. Our team provides neutral arbitration at no extra cost to resolve disagreements fairly.
Can I change my lawyer mid-case?
Yes, you can change your assigned lawyer if needed. Go to your case details and use the "Change Lawyer" option. Any funded but unreleased milestones will remain in escrow.
