Approving Work & Releasing Payment
Learn how to review your lawyer's submitted work and release payment when you're satisfied.
Important
Once you release payment, it cannot be reversed. Only approve when you're fully satisfied with the work.
When Work Is Submitted
When your lawyer completes a milestone, they click "Submit for Approval." You'll receive:
- Email notification
- Dashboard notification
- Milestone status changes to "Pending Approval"
How to Review & Approve

Go to Your Case
Navigate to the case with the pending milestone

Review the Submission
Read the lawyer's summary, check any attached documents or deliverables

Approve & Release
Work meets expectations
Request Revisions
Minor changes needed

Confirm Release
If approving, confirm the payment release. Lawyer receives funds within 2-3 days.
What If I'm Not Satisfied?
Request Revisions
If work needs minor changes, message your lawyer with specific feedback. They can revise and resubmit.
File a Dispute
If there are significant issues you can't resolve directly, file a dispute. Funds remain in escrow while our team reviews.
